Intimate showcase brings together industry heavy-hitters for the launch of media giant’s newest venture
Tucked between summer vacations and Madrid’s signature August heat, VANQUISH Music made its official debut with an intimate acoustic showcase for industry insiders and select clients. The event, hosted at the group’s Madrid headquarters and sponsored by Musicopolix, brought together VANQUISH Group’s power players – CEO Sebastián Arias Duval and majority partners Andrés Tortarolo Fragola and Sebastián Averbuj – to unveil the group’s ambitious new music hub.
Le Coco, currently on her Spanish tour, set the tone with selections from her latest work Indestructible, before delivering an emotional highlight: her rendition of Simón Díaz’s Tonada de Luna Llena – a poignant nod to the current situation in her native Venezuela. Ángeles Arboleda followed with crowd favorites Amnesia and Mujer de Mentira, while treating attendees to Mi Amor, a sneak peek from her upcoming EP. The evening reached its peak when both artists joined forces for a surprise cover of Miami-based Spanish star Alejandro Sanz‘s Corazón Partío – a performance that resonated deeply with the exclusive audience while reflecting both artists’ current journeys.
The showcase marked more than just a celebration – it announced VANQUISH Music as the newest vertical of VANQUISH Sports & Media Group, designed to leverage the group’s expertise in talent management, development, and content creation for TV and streaming platforms. The division aims to capitalize on VANQUISH’s strategic position in key regional markets – and its strong brand partnerships – to accelerate the growth of musical talent. In an era where sports and urban culture increasingly converge (driven by sports brands’ expansion into lifestyle territory), the company is positioning itself as a 360-degree solution for brands looking to connect with the young adult demographic.
